What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a certification that demonstrates your business has the basic security controls in place to protect against common cyber threats — phishing, ransomware, malware and unauthorised access. The certification is issued by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and recognised across UK government and industry.
Gap analysis
Before you apply, we review your current IT setup against the five Cyber Essentials technical controls — boundary firewalls, secure configuration, access controls, malware protection, and patch management — and tell you exactly what needs to change.
The fixCyber Essentials gap analysis — remote review, written plain-English report with prioritised remediation list.
Remediation support
We fix the gaps we identify — configuring firewalls, applying policies, setting up MFA, updating software — so your setup meets the Cyber Essentials requirements before you apply.
